One day, suddenly I found myself making house music. Here are some of my favorite tracks
1
Calma
A collaboration with Julian Bendall, from Bah Samba, included in the band’s last album.
Also my last recording in the UK before moving to Mozambique. A melancholic song of good bye, with the guest appearance by my friend Javi Ortega, aka el Alquimista and his magic hands (he did the hand claps), the same hands that held me at the beginning of my life in this country, now were happily waving good-bye.

Felicidad
My first summer in Sweden. I went to record the third collaboration with Axwell as Mambana, in his brand new studio in Stockholm. This time, unfortunately, without the intervention of the Phat Nerds.
3
Pasilda
Afro Medusa's first and only hit together. With Patrick Cole and Nick Bennett, I formed this band that changed name, record company and plans many times. It was a lot of fun to perform this song all over the world. It came to me while driving to the hospital.....my friends Ision and Perico were having their first baby, Virginia.....I called her Pasilda.

Clorophylla
What a crazy week I had during my first time recording in Sweden, at Stonebridge's studio! Got together with Mixmaster and wrote and recorded several tracks, among them was Clorophylla. A Swedish, an Italian and a Spaniard drinking vast amounts of coffee and watching the deer under the northern night, very inspiring! I have loads of fun memories of that time.

Magic
I remember that barn in Oxford where Pat, Nick and I locked ourselves away for a week to write some tunes as Afro Angel, the group's new name. Basically, we had a great time coming up with some fun ideas, some rubbish ideas and..."magic", which got signed by Concept Music. A lovely song that deserved more than to stay in the limbo of the music business…

No reason
First Mambana song. My publishers at the time, Edel, sent me to Sweden to work with Stonebridge and Mixmaster, and to meet these three young producers who had a funky track that needed a tune to go with it…..these young guys were Axwell and the 2 Phat Nerds.

Libre
After the success of "No Reason", we decided to get together again as Mambana.....second trip to Sweden .Another funky tune produced by Axwell and the Phat Nerds.

No Pares
I went to record with this guy that I never met, to see what happened.....and I found Sullee, an extremely warm and friendly guy. We did a good day’s work and came up with this really positive track which, for some reason, never made it. Shame! It still brings me good memories though!

Asi Asi
Mixmaster-Stonebridge-Isabel Fructuoso first collaboration. My first time in Sweden. The first time I experienced extremely cold weather mixed with extremely warm people.
